All international students must meet University Admission requirements. In addition to meeting those requirements, international students must submit a certified, translated transcript, a notarized statement of financial support or a certified government sponsored letter, and proof of English proficiency. Proof of English Proficiency can be provided with one of the following:
- TOEFL score of 500 or higher on the paper-based test or at least 173 on the computer-based TOEFL
- A certificate of successful completion of intermediate ESL/EFL course
- Evidence of completing 12 semester hours in postsecondary education in which English was the language of instruction with at least a C average
- Evidence of completing 4 consecutive years in secondary or higher education in which English was the language of instruction
The International Student Advisor will assist international students with questions and concerns. Applicants cannot work off-campus legally in the US without permission from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services. International students are able to work on campus, 20 hours per week, with permission of the Institute. Please see the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services for additional information.
